Nestomat is a service that takes your data, users and businesses processes from your existing IT environment and creates a duplicate in another IT environment, based on applications owned and operated within EU.
This second environment, we call a Nest. It is there to keep your business running, in case your main environment breaks down. Just like having two cars!
Depending on what application and data Nestomat replicates, it uses different methods. It can be an API that connects your current application to the Nest or it can be a small software that runs on your users computers and copy data from their storage and applications to the Nest.
That's good. But what will you do with all your backed up data, if the application they belong to becomes unavailable?
Nestomat is not only a backup of data. It is an extra IT environment, complete with applications ready to use.
Let's give an example: If all of a sudden Microsoft Office becomes unavailable, Nestomat has already replicated all your users and their data to the Nest. So all your users need to do is log in to the Nest and access their data in Only Office.
In a crisis situation, it is important to be able to act and respond. It is also important to keep your business afloat no matter what happens in different parts of the world. Let's say you deal in life saving medicine. Or you are a Government Organisation. Not being able to use your IT systems can be more than damaging. It can be fatal. With Nestomat you have your regular IT environment you use every day. And a Nest with all your business critical applications and data, in case something happens.
It's as safe as storing your data where you keep them today. Nestomat itself does not store your data, but use EU owned and based companies and applications, with whom you will have direct contacts. You are in control, as much as you are over your data today (if not even more).
Nestomat charges for setting up replication to - and applications in your Nest. That's a one time project, where the price depends on the number of applications.
For each user we charge a monthly fee for transferring their data to the applications in the Nest.
Apart from that, license fees for applications apply and are paid to the vendor directly.
No. And that is not the intention. A Nest is like an extra car or an emergency house. It's not meant to be fully equipped, but meant to be a basic environment that can get your business through a crisis situation, like if your Google Suite is hacked an you can't access it. Then you will find the basic set of applications for running your business, complete with your most recent data for them, in the Nest.
Almost. Together with you and your IT team, we strive at finding applications for the Nest, that works much like the ones you are used to. There might be differences, but that is why we help you design business processes that can work in an emergency, with the applications we select for your Nest.
Like two Google Suites or two Microsoft 365 tenants? That will not help you if any of these application providers become unavailable. Then both of your environments will be out of reach.
